Ghandruk Ghorepani Trek

Ghandruk Ghorepani TrekAnd the experiences you share with our enthusiastic Nepalese crew. We follow the trails though the scenic, terraced Annapurna foothills. From our camps, the peaks of Annapurna South (7256m) and the well defined, fluted peak of Machapuchere (6993m) rise above. Next we swap our boots for paddles, and raft the Trishuli River.

There are a number of options for short treks in the foothills to the north of Pokhara. Most of these variations will visit Ghandruk and Ghorepani. Poonhill is the best viewpoint for panoramic view of Annapurna Himalayan range, can be reached easily from Ghorepani. Ghandruk is a large traditional Gurung village while Ghorepani is the settlement below the famed vantage point of Poonhill. The itinerary suits for those who want to see and feel within short period of time, a beautiful panoramic mountain view from the elevation of 3210m along with some traditional villages and their culture.

Typical Magar and Gurung villages at Ulleri, and Ghandruk, sunrise and mountain view from Poonhill, rhododendron and alpine trees.
